Enjoy the informal rustic atmosphere
of our green oak conservatory with its absorbing views of the ancient
landscape, the Glebe Cairn and the Kilmartin Glen.
Feast your eyes on the wonderful, traditional stonework and the massive
oak timbers which have been used in constructing the building. We often
have special exhibitions of local
artwork for you to enjoy whilst you are waiting for your
meal.
Only the freshest and most wholesome
of local produce is used in the preparation of our dishes
which reflect Scotland’s heritage. Lunch time diners can enjoy freshly
made soup, sandwiches, light lunches and baked potatoes as well as
oven-hot scones and other tempting home baking. Specials are always on
offer.
Why not come along any Thursday, Friday or Saturday, and try out our
unique blend of local and world produce?
Or if you fancy a unique night out why not come along to one of our
themed evenings? Parties and special events are also catered for – call
for more details.

Colin Baird, who is one of the travel enthusiasts and moderators of simonseeks.com, has written a guide called
‘Cycling around Scotland’s longest loch: Loch Awe’. In his guide Colin recommends the Kilmartin House Museum as
one of the best places to visit in Scotland!
“I can personally vouch for the cakes at the museum café. The woman who baked them told me I could come back again when I tried the first slice of her latest creation, hazelnut and lemon, and told her it was delicious. The downstairs conservatory gets the sun (if there is any) and there is a nice mixture of locals and international visitors."
