From time to time Kilmartin House Museum takes on volunteers and students. Long term local volunteers are particularly welcome! Our volunteer group is currently engaged in library cataloguing and indexing, office, reception and shop work as well as educational work.

There are currently opportunities for:

• Archaeology: Dál Riata Dun Community Archaeology Project
• Dalriada Project Archaeology
• Gardening (knowledge of native Scottish, culinary or medicinal plants especially useful as we need help looking after our Beechgrove planted garden!)
• Office and computer work
• Summer educational demonstration work
• Marketing / Communication
