Are you a free thinker who cares about the Earth? Do you want to reduce your carbon footprint but don't like to be lectured at?
Permaculture may be the answer. It's a set of ethics and principles which help us learn from nature and live in harmony with it.
It goes to the heart of the current sustainability debate and is as much about living and working together as communities as it is about gardening and farming.
This year our course will be taught by a group of individuals, all of whom bring a wealth of experience to the course. There will be an informal, hands-on, teamwork approach and a great camaraderie develops as each module of the course progresses.
Module 4 will be led by Lusi Alderslowe and Geoff Forrest
The weekend will be based at a farm house at Barmaddy on Loch Awe, currently leased to the Galgael Project who are based in Glasgow.
Over the weekend the course will look at Community; Barmaddy and the urban connection including buildings/architecture along with woodlands and trees.
The weekend will involve some physical voluntary work.
The cost of the weekend is £75 for tuition.
Preference will be given to those attending the Introduction Day (20 June) when booking the Full Design Course.
