Description

There is what appears to be a prehistoric barrow between the road and Ballymeanoch Henge monument. It measures about 30m in diameter and 1.4m high.

There was an exploratory excavation by Craw in 1928. Underneath the mound of earth and a number of boulders a layer of charcoal was discovered but no cists or burials were found.
