Description
This stone stands beside a well surrounded by ruins of the former township of Kilmory. The west face is carved with a cross with double transom, 2 pairs of birds, 2 discs and at least 4 animals. Carvings on the east face, which are contemporary, depict a simple outline cross.
This simple stone with carvings on both sides (the one seen here is the E face) is positioned just beside a (holy?)well. One of the ruins of the later settlement of Kilmory Oib can be seen in the distance.
