Description
Single standing stone, part of a group of monuments comprising two cairns and what may be a prehistoric enclosure. The stone stands betwen the two cairns. May have had significance in astronomical observations in prehistoric times.
Excavation Details
Stone fell winter 1978-9 and stone-hole excavated 1979, no foundation deposit revealed. Stone re-erected and set in concrete plinth, no longer aligned on original axis.

This site is on private land and permission should be sought.
