The Museum Education team is partnered with the Scottish Crofting Federation (SCF) to deliver a programme of courses and workshops at the Museum and at various venues within Mid – Argyll.

Bite Size Courses

A hands-on range of one or two day, bite-sized skills courses for the croft from dry stone walling to animal husbandry.

Future Courses

 

Access to Crofting

A classroom-based introduction to Scottish agriculture directly related to crofters and smallholders. This is a two -day training weekend with expert tuition from tutors who will give you a step up to starting out in crofting, taking on a croft or just to update your knowledge. Date of next course to be confirmed.

£70 and there are limited fully funded spaces for anyone aged 16 to 25.
