PLAY YOUR PART IN SCOTLAND’S ANCIENT STORIES
JOIN US ON A LIFETIME OF DISCOVERY
Kilmartin Glen is one of the world’s most significant archaeological sites. There are thousands of years of history and natural history to explore in this beautiful landscape.
For 20 years, Kilmartin Museum has been discovering, caring for and sharing the stories of artefacts from this special place, but we have outgrown our current buildings.
This ambitious and exciting project will cost £7 million. A total of £3.2m has been granted by the Heritage Lottery Fund. We have raised £3.4 million from other public body funders, through donations and pledges from private individuals and trusts.
With your help we can build a new Museum to create a suitable home for Argyll’s unique and special artefacts – whether currently in our care or yet to be found. You can help keep alive the magic of this special place for generations to come. We invite you to be part of this.
