Ancient Skills Workshops
We run an exciting programme of Ancient Skills Workshops at Kilmartin Museum, where participants will learn how ancient hunter-gatherers created pottery and wooden utensils and crafted weapons and tools from antler, stone and bone.
Drawing on current and ongoing archaeological research and over a decade of ancient skills practice, Education Team Lead Will Attard will guide participants through the crafting process. Using the same tools and following the techniques of your Mesolithic predecessors, you will learn how these populations survived in a rich but often dangerous world.
