Scottish Archaeology Month
September is Scottish Archaeology Month, an annual celebration run by Archaeology Scotland that has been shining a light on Scotland’s heritage, history and archaeology for over 30 years.
This year’s theme is Heritage At Risk, with free and low cost events taking place across Scotland throughout the month.
Kilmartin Museum is running the following events as part of the celebration:
Free weekly guided walks on Wednesday afternoons
Free Marion Campbell Library tours on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays
Introduction to Flint Knapping Workshop on 17th September (£95/person to cover materials)
